Message from National Secretary:
Assalamo Alaikum Warahmatullah Dear Waqifeen-e-Nau,
Alhamdolillah, in your inbox you find the second issue of the monthly newsletter in ‘Voice of Waqf-e-Nau’. The purpose of this newsletter is to ensure that we share what’s going on with the department but also to bring out the activities being held in your Jama’at or share any stories or articles you may have for us.
Please read the beautiful message by our Imam and try to inculcate the habit of fulfilling the rights of Almightly Allah in your daily life.
“To safeguard your Salat should always be the hallmark of a Waqf-e-Nau, and this requires you to always observe the five obligatory prayers and perform them with full respect and attention. You should also give attention to performing voluntary prayers as much as possible. You should recite the Holy Qur’an daily and learn its translation and deeper meanings. It is not enough to simply read the Holy Qur’an; you must also practically implement what the Qur’an teaches you. All these matters are essential to every Waqf-e-Nau. When you observe and fulfil these fundamental requirements, which are essential for your proper moral training, only then you will be seen as a person whose every act is for God’s pleasure. You will then become a person who establishes a real link with Allah and you will be the one who truly strives to acquire His love.”

My Experience of a Lifetime:
My name is Malaika Khan. I am 13 years old and I am in 8th grade. This year for the first time I had a great opportunity to attend Waqfe Nau class with our beloved Huzoor(aba). It was a great, exciting, and memorable moment. My family and I left our home on Tuesday, October 11th to attend Waqfe Nau Class on October 12th, 2022. I was so blessed with the amazing opportunity to sit with Huzoor (aba) in Baitur Rehman in Silver Spring Maryland. I felt really happy and lucky to be sitting in the first row. I couldn’t explain my feelings in words. I couldn’t take my eyes off Huzoor’s face (aba) and felt like there was a bright light on our beloved Huzoor(aba) face. I remembered when Huzoor started to speak, Hazoor asked us how many can speak , understand or write Urdu and how many read the Holy Quran with translation.
I was so excited to see our beloved Huzoor in person Alhamdolillah. It was a great moment I will never forget. I pray to Allah the Almighty that our beloved Huzoor (aba) visits us again and again. Ameen

Blessed Tour of Huzur (aba):
Being in the presence of our wonderful Khalifa is one that one must be able to experience on their own. Words simply cannot describe how blessed an occasion this was and how lucky we are to have a leader that cares so deeply for his Jammat and ummah. Huzoor’s dedication to the jamaat and dedication to Islam is an inspiration to us all and we must all strive to be just like our khalifa and follow his guidance and wisdom as he guides us through these difficult times.
I stayed all 7 days during Huzoor’s time at Bait ur Rahman in Maryland. I made sure to take care of all worldly objectives and tasks before dedicating my time to serving the Jammat. I originally left for Maryland on Friday after the jummah. We had a lot of work to do to set up the area and make sure we were prepared for his arrival. I was on the transportation and parking team which was very important because we had to transport thousands of people from the parking area to the Masjid so everyone had the same chance to be in his presence. We spent long hours driving shuttles and ensuring that people reach the Masjid safe and sound. This was an amazing team effort that was very successful with the grace of Allah. At the end of the night after our duties, we were provided accommodations thanks to the Jammat. There were many volunteers that worked diligently to ensure that everything went smoothly.
May Allah bless all the workers who took time off to serve the Jammat. We had multiple chances to pray behind his holiness as well as when we didn’t have our duties we would wait in line to enter the Masjid so we could pray our namaz behind Huzoor. No matter how long we waited it felt like nothing compared to being able to pray behind his holiness and feel the light and love emitting from him. These experiences are timeless and I felt so happy to be able to be in the same room as Huzoor, this is something I will never forget and I will remember this for the rest of my life. Other moments were standing and waiting for Huzoor to walk past us. Huzoor made sure he would wave at us and recognize and reciprocate the love that we have for him. At the end of the night after praying Isha Namaz, we would drive the shuttles to and from the Masjid ensuring that everyone got back to their cars safely during the rush of the night time. I greatly enjoyed this because I was able to converse with many people and other jamaat members from across the country who had the same feelings as I did regarding our Khalifa. People coming from Zion to Dallas and then all the way to Maryland reaping in the benefits of being near his holiness.
Everyone that I encountered on this trip was so incredibly kind and showed me so much love which only confirms the beauty of this jamaat as everyone is connected as we all have one love and one desire to praise Allah and follow Khilafat. I remember one day after Fajr Namaz there weren’t that many people standing outside in the aisles to greet Huzoor. After Huzoor completed Fajr prayer in the Masjid, I was able to say Assalamualaikum and Huzoor looked in my direction and proceeded to wave back at me. This experience along with being in his presence during the Waq-fe-nau class was immense and the joy that I felt when Huzoor would converse with us and praise us for all the work that we would do for the Jammat. Being in the class was really enjoyable and I was able to sit in close proximity to our Khalifa. You can really tell that Hazoor prays for us and wants us to do well in this world so we can be successful in the world after. This was a shared sentiment among all of the Waq-fe-nau and we were able to have a wonderful time with our blessed leader. After a hard but blessed week of work and prayer, I had to say my goodbyes to Maryland on the Monday of Huzoor’s departure back to England.
This week was an incredible blessing and it really made me happy that I was born into such a wonderful Jammat where there is such a beautiful community led by Huzoor who cares so much for us and wants us to be happy and Worship Allah. I hope I am blessed with a chance to go to England soon and be able to visit Masjid Mubarak and pray behind Huzoor. May Allah continue to allow us to serve Jammat and May Allah bless Huzoor for his efforts in leading our community, Ameen
